Celebrating IGAAS Festival with Uttarakhand Thailand Association
It was a pleasure to join the Uttarakhand Thailand Association in celebrating the vibrant “IGAAS##”festival. Igaas is observed 11 days after the main Diwali, on the eleventh day of the Hindu month of Kartik (Kartik Shukla Ekadashi). It carries a warm spirit of devotion, family bonding, and community joy.
Uttarakhand, known as Dev Bhoomi, holds a rich cultural and spiritual heritage. The traditions and performances shared today reflected the beauty of the mountains and reminded us of the diverse strength of India.
My sincere appreciation to President Shri Chandra Shekhar Silori, Vice President Mrs. Rashmi Raturi, and Dr. Kala, who continue to be the backbone of the Thai Uttarakhand Association through their efforts and guidance.
Thank you to the Executive Committee and all members for the warm welcome and thoughtful hospitality.
It was truly a meaningful experience to be part of this celebration.
